WHO has shown an amazing capacity to promote equal opportunity by acknowledging that gender equality is a very important aspect when providing health care services to all. While working close with Member States, the WHO contributes to the empowerment of women by making sure that women have equal opportunities in the representation of their communities. Women are also allowed to control resources like money, thereby allowing for health equity and gender equality. WHO also speaks up for the right of women and girls to having good health (World Health Organization, 2019). When girls and women have access to health services without prejudice, and prevent or plan pregnancies, they can better their economic opportunities. This eventually plays a great role in helping them change their lives for the better.
